PERRYSBURG SUMMER RECREATION 2008

SUMMER TIME IS HERE ONCE AGAIN! This means that it's time for everyone to start thinking about summer activities. Once again, the Perrysburg Recreation Department extends a cordial invitation to every boy and girl to take part in the 2008 Summer Recreation Program. Even though last year's program was a huge success, it is the goal of the Recreation Department to enrich and vary the activities as well as continue favorite past activities. Therefore, you will find that there are some new and exciting activities in this year's recreation program. Every possible effort is being made to make this year's recreation program the best ever for the City of Perrysburg; thus, making an enjoyable summer for everyone. Most of the activities take place only once or twice a week. This is done so that everyone will get the opportunity to participate in many different activities throughout the summer. Activities and camps will be conducted at Municipal Park at Elm Street, Schaller Memorial Building, Three Meadows Pond, Golf Dimensions, Way Public Library, Rivercrest Park and River Hollow Farm. REGISTRATION: Registration can be done in person for all the regular activities on Monday, May 26, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; TUESDAY, MAY 27, 5 to 7 p.m.; WEDNESDAY, MAY 28, 5 to 7 p.m. and thursday, may 29, 5 to 7 p.m. All are going to be held at the Municipal Park Recreation Building at 945 Elm Street. This is a couple of weeks prior to the opening day of the Recreation Program. Also, this year we will accept MAIL-IN REGISTRATION. Please do not mail cash. All Summer Recreation activities will begin the week of JUNE 9, 2008, and will conclude on August 7, 2008. THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES OR PROGRAMS ON THURSDAY, JULY 3 and FRIDAY, JULY 4. A brief schedule of activities and special events has been included for your information and planning.
